Highway 4 – Karei Neeman-Ein Hamifratz

Design period: Since 2018 and ongoing

Client: Netivei Israel and Cross-Israel Highway Co. Ltd.

Project location: Akko and the Krayot

General description: Design of two interchanges – Highways 4 and 22 at Karei Neeman and Highways 6 and 22 plus a section of road to bypass the Krayot.

Amy Metom's role on the project: Statutory planning, lead designer, geometry and utilities coordination.

Traffic planning for the Harish neighborhoods. Planning of the southern entrance road to Harish – a 3-lane dual-carriageway road with 2 regular lanes and a busway. The roadway is accompanied by bicycle paths for its entire length and connects with an upgraded intersection on road 574.
