Highway 611 and street design of the City of Harish

Design period: Since 2016 and ongoing

Client: Ministry of Housing for Harish Municipality and Netivei Israel

Project location: Harish and the road connecting the southern entrance of Harish to road 574

General description: Traffic planning for the Harish neighborhoods. Planning of the southern entrance road to Harish – a 3-lane dual-carriageway road with 2 regular lanes and a busway. The roadway is accompanied by bicycle paths for its entire length and connects with an upgraded intersection on road 574.

Amy Metom's role on the project: Lead designer, traffic, geometry, drainage and utilities coordination

The neighborhood covers an area of 1,740 dunams and includes 5,162 housing units, of which 4,543 are in high-rise construction with another 619 single-family units.
